One Mob is a local Aboriginal founded and led community group for First Nations people of all backgrounds, gathering here on Wiradjuri country to share, protect and celebrate culture .

One Mob Aboriginal Corporation is a Not For Profit Aboriginal Organisation. We are an Indigenous group who endeavor to ensure our cultural knowledge is passed onto future generations. We educate our youth and the community about the importance of connecting to country, preserving and protecting our land, heritage and culture.
All members are active participants in the work we do. We encourage local First Nations people and their families who live in the area and wish to connect with their local Mob to reach out and request to attend initially as a guest to meet the group.

Yanhanha Girinyalanha Yama (Walk, Talk n Do)
AEFI in conjunction with One Mob designed and completed a 4 month First Nations Mentoring Program from 2020-2021 for local youth on Wiradjuri country. The aim of Yanhanha Girinyalanha Yama (Walk, Talk n Do) was to provide a safe space for Aboriginal youth to come together with Elders and learn about their culture on a grass-roots level and improve overall well being.

Cultural Meeting Place
AEFI and One Mob built a Cultural meeting place using funds from Building Better Regions fund. One Mob hold their monthly meetings in the space, bringing their community together, including young children.

Bush Tucker Garden
Using Energy Australian funding, One Mob designed, built and planted a bush tucker garden to enhance knowledge about the use of the local native plants – how to use them in cooking and medicinal purpose.
Through this project, we hope to strengthen connection to Country to maintain a healthy and sustainable environment.
